I am a registered nurse with a diverse experience that spans 25 years the majority of that time having been spent in the speciality of accident & emergency nursing both as a staff nurse, clinical nurse educator, & charge nurse.
I moved into the primary health care sector where I co-owned an Accident & Medical centre and was Director of Nursing in another for seven years.
Later I worked for an Independent Practice Association sourcing the education for the nurses of more than 80 general practices.
Prior to exiting the nursing profession I was employed by the Immunisation Advisory Centre as the Regional Co-ordinator for Midland.
Acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body & spirit & the influence of balance & harmony on our state of wellbeing led me to explore a diverse range of healing therapies and in the process I completed my Diploma in Natural Therapies and studied a number of healing modalities. I am a Reiki master / healer and incorporate Reiki, Creative Visualisation, Meditation, Reflexology and Oriental techniques into my healing.
Intuitive guidance & counselling has been an integral part of my practice for some years. I specialise in grief and relationship counselling.
I offer my services as a massage therapist & speaker on a voluntary basis to hospice & the Cancer & Child cancer Foundation. I enjoy my role as a civil union & marriage & funeral celebrant.
My belief that healing moves us toward wholeness is the driving force behind my passion to teach people how they can facilitate that process and heal their lives.
I present and facilitate workshops/ seminars on personal growth and spiritual awareness, meditation and healing, encouraging and supporting my audience to embrace what I know and believe to be a universal truth - that ‘the path to peace and healing' is an active internal process - one that we must all embrace if we are to achieve our optimum level of wellness and happiness. It is up to each one of us to KNOW our truth & to live it with love and integrity.
